MIKE
SMITH
HI my name is Smitty and I live in Sweetwater, Tx.
I have been a fan of MICHAEL SCHENKER for a long
time.
My guitar is a 1982 gibson flying V
and was painted by my friend Tony at www.TonyNoblesGuitars.com
Tony did a GREAT job and when Michael Schenker saw
the guitar he said
"I have a friend in Tx."
The guitar has a fast thin neck. Front pickup is
stock gibson and
the bridge pickup is a Bill Lawrence XL 500. This
guitar is a SMOKER.
My favorite bands are MSG, UFO, John Sykes, Thin
Lizzy, Whitesnake
and last but not least SAVATAGE. (I love these guys
) Criss was the best R .I.P. |

Hey
Pete ! I've found the fella who nicked your vest
!
My name is MARK RAWWWWKKKKKOWER and I've been a UFO
fan
since TWTWATI whenever that was...
I am forty years old and now a stockbroker in sunny
Florida.
I am originally from Boston where I played in bands
from 1976-1986.
Never made it but did a couple of EPs and got some
radio play as well, blah, blah, blah.
Backed up some decent bands in our time but never
UFO... too bad.
I am happily divorced with two lovely daughters,
a fiance,
and a chihuahua (nasty little creature).
|
| Well
what can I say that hasn't already been said about
this fella.
(and often reported in the Sunday newspapers as
well)
WILL BILLKINS is from Cambridge,
where UFO tours never seem to get as far as.
Shalalala roll him over, turn him round and do it
again.... |

JOHN
SMITH (no relation to Mike at the top of the page).
Ordinary
boring name, ordinary boring bloke. Mr. Average. That's
about it, really.
So why is he pretending to be the Mona Lisa?
Or in John's words....
Following a prolonged mid-life crisis brought on by
loss of hair, gain in weight and radical advances
in new technology, shy, reclusive "Smiffy"
decides to join the internet age and subscribe to
a UFO/MSG newsgroup.
Seen here in classic pose, from photo 3 in a 7 part
series entitled "Why middle aged men don't wear
make-up" |

COLES with Phil in Paris, Nov 97
Mark... please explain.... why? how? what? |

STEFAN
...
That's a sweet innocent smile you have, but if it
turns out to be the judge's wife's knickers that
you have just stolen from that washing line I'm
afraid it's back to jail for ya ...
I'm a 39 year old Swede, now living
in Denmark.
Been a UFO/MSG/Schenker fan since 1978 (Obsession)
I am the born optimist and will always keep on
listening to music made by Michael Schenker !!
Favorite albums are:
Obsession - SITN - One Night at Budokan - MSG 1
-
Assault Attack - BAOS - Thank You part one .
Looking forward to the new UFO-album, must be a
killer. |

RICH
BEEZHOLD
Blimey! |

HOBS
Hobs, affectionately
known as 'Knob' is one of my very best
friends. We take it in turns to save each
other's life.
He still owes me for two mousemats, and
I have been very lenient about that cos
he has such an endearing smile. But no,
I do NOT want to be paid in bananas, thank
you.

MARK RATTO (above)
works in an ice cream factory!
Mark Ratto, born 10-9-62. I live in
Walnut Creek, California and I work at
Dreyer's/Edy's Grand Ice Cream.
I have worked there for 14 years and
I work with computers, networks and phone systems.
I have been a fan of Michael's since I first heard
Strangers while sitting in the back seat of a
Honda Civic
on the way to a water polo tournament
during my high school days.
I also am a huge Uli Roth fan...
as well as the Scorps, Maiden, Priest, Sabbath,
AC/DC, Thin Lizzy, etc etc.
I also am a big fan of the Ozric Tentacles.
My main non-musical love in life is
being a fan of the Oakland Raiders.

GEOFF
and his wife DELORES,
modelling for the Sharks cd cover.
Luckily the band had other fish to fry.

TODD
He has the word 'odd' in his name...
Yeh ...
|
|
| RICHARD
McGUIRE
Okay... NOW I'm scared

|
But
this I like ...
GILL is a fella from France
Apparently the word 'fella' means
something else over there.
And here on the left, in the middle of madness
, is TOM and his son from Massachusetts |
Be Aware of Scorpions!
Cos you never know when
you might bump into one!
Dan was minding his own business, having a quiet day at the races
and soaking up a bit (a lot!) of sunshine, and
up walks Rudi and asks if he can have his photo
taken with
Dan and Danny.
He also got a pair of
slicks from Kenny Bernstein's car,
so all in all, it wasn't a bad day out. |

JASON RITCHIE is the brains behind the CLASSIC
ROCK NEWSWIRE mailing list. He has interviewed
just about every rockstar in the whole wide world
for the GET
READY TO ROCK website. He also runs this weird
'Fantasy Cricket' thanggggg which no-one's ever
quite got to grips with, but we all just nod wisely
and pretend we know exactly what's going on.
Why is he smiling? Well, you'd smile too if you
knew your boss was paying you to do absolutely no
damn work all day!
